The good thing about it is the fact that your conversions will show in your interface, making it easy for you to look at your marketing results. The bad thing is, you can either track leads or sales and not both at once.

PPC Affiliate Conversion Tracking

The best way I know how to track sales for affiliate marketing is using Prosper202. It is a free open source software, you can modify it to any way you want.

You can easily install it on your server and it is also simple and easy to use. The fact that the interface looks really cool, makes it really easy for your eyes to view your marketing results. Bear in mind that it only works for affiliate programs which allow subid tracking, which most good networks do.

Same thing here, you can either track leads or sales and not both at once. If you need to track both, here is What you can do is….. place your AdWords conversion code on your thank you page to track leads and use Prosper202 to track your sales. Simple?

Every article you submit to article directories, you should have links back to your squeeze page or at least a blog with an popup or opt-in box. Just by tracking, you will know which articles helps convert more leads for you and you can then write more of such articles.

Autoresponder Emails

When you track each individual email, you will soon discover which email makes you the most money. When you find it out, move that email higher up your sequence, let it appear in the first few emails of your sequence instead of placing it at the back.

Email Swaps

Before I forget….. if you do email swaps with others, you should track. After that, you would know who are the email swap partners with highly responsive leads and who are those with lower quality leads.

“SpeedPPC Made Me
Lose Money…..”

Sounds like I am about to whine and complain about how I lost money while using SpeedPPC, however that is not true. I honestly think that it is a useful software though I no longer use it. Also, the developers are trusted experts in this field and every word on their sales letter is true.

Here is why I no longer have to use SpeedPPC…..

When I first started using it, I realized that it works with AdWords Editor, so I decided to figure out how to use it as well. In less than a day, I figured out how to use both SpeedPPC and AdWords Editor. I was so happy that I can now create multiple adgroups with a single keyword in each of them in just a few minutes!

SpeedPPC Test

I created a direct linking test campaign for a CPA offer. Within that campaign, there were over 2,000 keywords, all grouped neatly into small tight adgroups and as usual, I did this in just a few minutes. Everything happened so fast, the campaign went live and the very next morning….. I lost money!

I guess, I went so fast that I missed out on proper keyword research. If a software can do something for you very fast, you can either make you money or lose you money very fast. That is the reason why I do NOT recommend that you invest in SpeedPPC if you are new. For me, I was new to CPA offers then.

AdWords Editor

After I lost money, I decided to take a closer look at what I just did so that I can learn from my own mistakes. Sometimes, mistakes do teach us useful lessons. I discovered the capabilities of AdWords Editor and you can use it upload and edit campaigns quickly.

SpeedPPC

SpeedPPC creates CSV files based on your keywords, ads and adgroups. Did you know that you can do that with any spreadsheet software? Rather than spending money (SpeedPPC is NOT cheap) all you need is any spreadsheet software and AdWords Editor, which you can get both for free.

Advanced Campaign Building

Inside my FREE AdWords Crash Course, I have a video that shows you exactly how to mass upload and edit your campaigns simply with spreadsheet and AdWords editor. Many of all the top super affiliates and marketers use this method, in fact this simple little idea replaces the most important function within SpeedPPC.

I am an athlete who is caught between time to devote to work and time for my career, so I am turning to internet marketing in search of an automated income. After seeing so many programs and software, what is a REAL, no B.S way to make an automated income?

First of all, there is no such thing as a 100% automated income. You need to set up a really solid sales funnel so that you can have a close to automated system that gives you income.

A no B.S way to make a nice income online? Different people will give you different answers, I would say….. using ppc and targeted landing pages for either affiliate offers or your own product.

Since you are an athlete, you could create an authority site about your sport. Maybe you can share some exercise tips, sports equipment tips, then write reviews of sports-related books, courses or equipment then promote them as an affiliate.

You can even write a book (or ebook) about your expertise. If you got no time to write a book, just write some notes and hand them over to a ghostwriter, it will not cost much anyway.

Craig’s question:

If your URL is the exact keyword you are targeting, will it improve your Google relevance score? If so, would it be advantageous to have 10 URLs for the top 10 kewords?

Samuel’s answer:

To some extent, yes. The best benefit is when the keyword you are bidding on is in your URL, it gets bolded and draws more attention, that is 1 of the reasons why you will get higher CTR.

When someone types in a keyword and he sees the same keyword within the ad or url, they immediately think that they found what they are looking for.

If you can buy the domains cheaply, why not? Even if you have to spend more money on each domain, if that keyword is already making you profits, getting a domain, will get you higher CTR and in the end, you will still profit more.

Before you get too excited, I guess half of it was their nett profits. $50,000 in commissions, within a month, for a single affiliate program is still a very good income!

What amazed me was the fact that ClickBank even interviewed Steve and made him some sort of case study for others to learn. How few super affiliates can get such attention, especially from ClickBank.

Presell Expert: Mark Acutt

Chances are, you may not have heard of Mark Acutt because he is not yet as well-known as the above people whom I just mentioned. I discovered him, read his material and found him to be a great source of common sense!

His course, Cash Boot Strap Method lays out a complete method from start to finish about his ppc strategy. This course might not cost much, however, there is a lot really good content inside.

He has another course, Cash Presell Method, which is actually an upsell. This course is shorter though it really includes the very fine details of writing a presell that converts.

There are small little nuggets of gold all over this course! I like the part about framing your affiliate offer based on your audience, showing the product and benefits in a way that makes people really want to buy.

Flow charts are also included so that you can understand the whole flow of marketing at a glance.

It is no secret that there are many really good ppc marketers out there. These people whom I just mentioned, they are not just good marketers, they are great at teaching people as well.
