“Perry Marshall – Definitive Guide
To AdWords Review…..”

At last, I have the time to read this AdWords course by Perry Marshall and Bryan Todd. Since there are over 250 pages, (NOT some ebook below 100 pages), I decided to scan through before I read the entire guide. Somehow, I read everything, all at once…..

Definitive Guide To AdWords <== Click Here Right Now

On top of this guide, you will also get AdWords Advertising Coupon and the audio version of Advanced Strategies for Making Your Website Pay. That is not all you will get, you also get these additional modules…..

Affiliate Module

Beginners Module

Copywriting Module

UK Marketing Module

Info Marketing Module

Content Network Module (My favorite module!)

Announcement: Content network is now Google Display Network.
It is just a change in name, everything else remains the same.

Knowing about AdWords is never enough which is why these modules are really helpful to your business. What you are about to get is not just a course about AdWords, you also get additional modules which will help you get ahead in your business.

Basic Package – you get 1 module.

Expanded Package – you get 2 modules.

Deluxe Package – you get all 6 modules.

By now you probably realize that Perry Marshall might be the most trusted expert when it comes to AdWords and some other related topics such as traffic conversion and more. I took a lot of notes while reading and I will share with you, the 10 most important AdWords tips (in random order)…..

Group your keywords in narrow themes.

Peel and stick your top keywords.

Continue to split test your ads.

Add more negative keywords.

Maintain high quality score.

Use targeted landing pages.

Find the top desire of your audience.

Separate search and display network.

Always track your conversions.

Use geo-targeting whenever possible.

Do all the above and you will be more than ready for the new economy! After reading this review, if you are still not fully persuaded that this might be the most important AdWords course, I suggest you read the entire letter for Definitive Guide To AdWords.

Definitive Guide To AdWords <== Click Here Right Now

As I was reading, I felt as if the entire book was written chapter by chapter in a random order before it was carefully arranged in the best possible sequence.

I almost forgot to mention that, some audios from the coaching program by Perry Marshall and Bryan Todd were also included.

The audio about USP was very interesting and I discovered many hidden gems from there. I am sure you will also get useful ideas too.

The best audio among all, (in my humble opinion), was the audio about the 8020 principle and to use it effectively in your business, your marketing and much more.

The Truth About Web Traffic…..

Look at your calendar, this is not 1999. Nothing is free online, especially web traffic. You do not want any random web traffic but web traffic that is highly targeted and will converted into profits in your pocket. You also want total control of your traffic, which is why you want to buy clicks.

Most advertisers are spending too much money on AdWords and not getting their investment back. Investing in this Definitive Guide To AdWords will certainly help you to slash your bid prices by 50%, 70%, 80% or even more!

If you are not willing to invest this small amount to learn how to use AdWords the right way, you should not even be in the game. You will probably get slaughtered by the system. They will take as much of your money as possible without giving you anything back.

** Market Smarter – NOT sell harder
** Get More For Less – NOT just spend more

Definitive Guide To AdWords <== Click Here Right Now

I strongly recommend you invest in the Definitive Guide To AdWords because I respect Perry Marshall for his work and also for his integrity. Till today, I am still learning from him and it helps to keep me ahead of competition.

If I did not read the earlier version of this guide when I started out, I would not be where I am today, having a few profitable websites and commanding a premium fee for managing campaigns.

This might be 1 of the best business investment you can make! If you go through the entire course and you cannot find anything of good value, I suspect that you are either illiterate or hard of hearing…..

Enjoy…..

“Google AdWords Content Network
Tips And Tricks…..”

Announcement: Content network is now Google Display Network.
It is just a change in name, everything else remains the same.

Google AdWords content network used to have very poor converting traffic. That was the reason why so many people used to turn it off. Then Google got rid of many blackhat and low quality AdSense publishers, the quality of the traffic got better and better with time.

This is a really good source of traffic, yet so many people miss it! As for those that try, many of them simply fall flat on their face with nothing to show for! You are about to discover how it can work for your business…..

Why You Must Use Content Network

Here are a few good reasons why you must use it…..

Unlimited Traffic:

There is more traffic on content network than search network.

Lower Cost Traffic:

Content network traffic usually cost lesser than search network.

Just Like Media Buying:

With the option to use image ads, this is just like media buying.

Harder For Others To Spy On You:

It is hard for your competitors to spy on your campaigns.

You may be thinking that search network has better quality traffic and you are right! However, with the lower cost per click and a much larger volume of traffic, it all makes sense to use content network.

When you want to scale up your traffic, you would buy more ads, this is known as media buying. Content network has the option of placement targeting and image ads which helps you get used to media buying.

Using some of these research tools, anyone can spy on your Google AdWords search campaigns, however with content network, it is impossible! By the way, I am not knocking any keyword tool, I still like them and I still use them today.

The Difference

The main difference between search network and content network is the difference between the frame of mind of the people…..

Search Network:

These people are actively searching for something on Google by typing in some keywords or phrases.

Content Network:

These people are not searching for something, they are reading articles or blog posts on some websites or blogs.

The way you track your results is also different. For search you need to use broad, phrase and exact keyword matching and for content, just using broad match will do. Therefore, for search, you track by individual keywords and for content, you track by each adgroup.

Now that you know the difference between the 2, you can have a different strategy for them. After all, marketing is all about serving people and you can only serve people well when you truly understand them.

Content Network Steps

Step #1 – Separate Campaigns

You must separate your search and content into different campaigns because you not only want to have different bid prices, you also want to write different ads to target your audience more accurately.

For search network, you usually will do well with your keywords in your headline, this is not the case with content network. With content network, your ads must really stand out in order to grab the attention of people.

Step #2 – Placement Reports

Till today, so many people are still not aware that there is an option to run placement reports! Good for you, bad for them! When you do this, you can see which sites your ads are appearing on and how well they are performing.

Step #3 – Negative Sites

Keep a look out for sites with high impressions and low clicks or clicks that are not converting. Simply delete these sites and use them as negative sites so that your ads will not appear on them again.

Step #4 – Peel And Stick

With your placement reports, you will also notice that some pages are converting well for you. You delete them and place them into a separate managed placement targeted adgroup.

Step #5 – Banner Ads

Get your adgroups which are converting, duplicate them and create banner ads. Create ads in all the sizes available, make sure you have at least 2 ads per size so that you can split test.

When creating image ads, you just have to use the ad copy of your top converting ads. You can use animated gif ads so that you can draw more attention and get more clicks.

You do not have to delete your text adgroups, you simply duplicate them so you end up with identical adgroups with image ads instead of text ads. Now you have the best of both worlds.

Step #6 – CPM

Consider paying on a cost per 1,000 impressions (CPM) basis instead of the usual cost per click. You might get more clicks for the same cost, so test it and see if it works better for you.

Image Ads

Your URL and Google link will be placed at the bottom of each image ad. The height of your images will be resized by about 11 to 22 pixels and it all depends on the image size you selected. They will only resize your images rather than cropping them. You can also resize the images yourself.

Rectangle (Medium)

Since we are talking about image ads, do create some images for FaceBook ads, the dimensions are 110 x 80. Take note that FaceBook do not allow animated gif images. Fortunately Google allows it.

Ideas To Consider

Whenever you are doing placement targeting and you know that certain sites are converting very well for you, you might consider buying advertising space directly from the site owners.

You take a screenshot of your AdWords account. Show these site owners what you are paying for an ad on their site. Then make them an offer to advertise directly on their site and cut out Google as the middle man.

Since you already know your numbers, there is no risk for you, just place your ads on their sites and get targeted traffic. This idea will take some time to get started, however, once you have it in place, it is easy to maintain.

Many times, these sites are not huge sites run by large corporations, they are small sites run by ordinary folks like you and I. This makes it easy to approach them to make a deal. You can even request to pay 30 days after advertising instead of paying up front. This will also improve your cash flow.

Conclusion

I hope you have a clearer picture of the content network and how it can help you in your business. Some of the ideas you just saw might sound too simple, however, when you do it, you will surely see results.

“Defeating Google Slap
Once And For All…..”

If you use Google AdWords, nothing is more frustrating than having your minimum bids being jacked up to some crazy amount which makes it impossible to profit. In our industry, this is known as Google Slap. Notice that the ones who always suffer from it seems to be affiliate marketers.

Before you throw your arms up in total frustration, let me clarify that Google is NOT against affiliates. What they want is to show the most relevant search results for their users. Understanding their purpose and making some small changes based on that will help you overcome Google Slaps once and for all!

Relevance And Quality

The sole purpose of the existence of Google is that they want to offer the highest quality search results. This is also the reason why they were able to beat other search engines to grab the biggest market share in terms of search.

What they want from their results, (both organic and AdWords) is relevance and high quality content. How exactly they define it, it is not easy to explain, the best I can do is to share what works for me time and again.

Harsh Reality

You were slapped by Google because the quality of your content on your website is not good enough in the eyes of Google. Alright, that sounds harsh, then again, I do not want to sugar coat stuff and pretend to make everything sound like a bed of roses.

AdWords have their set of best practices, just follow them and your quality score will be good and it will result in you being able to get lower minimum bids. If you want to use their system, follow their rules, simple?

The Most Horrid Mistake

Dumping a huge list of keywords into a single adgroup is the most horrid mistake that most beginners do, this might be the main reason why your bids get jacked up so high.

Just think about it, how can a few hundred keywords be related to each other? Take time and split your keywords into smaller groups. Maybe under 15 or 20 keywords per adgroup and all the keywords must be within the same theme.

Improving Quality Score

High Quality Score = Low Cost Per Click and Low Minimum Bid

Getting a lower cost per click and a lower minimum bid is the main reason why you want to take some time to improve your quality score. This small little improvement will surely improve your bottom line.

Improving your quality score is simple, first of all make sure the keywords in your adgroup are all related to each other and they should all fall within the same category or same theme.

Having lesser keywords in each adgroup will allow you to accurately match your keywords with your ads, which will help you appear more relevant and at the same time increase click through rate of your ads.

Dynamic Keyword Insertion: this is a very useful tactic and you may want to check out this article by Google.

Improving Landing Pages

Keywords

On your landing pages, add your keywords in your title tags, meta tags, meta description, H1 tags and headline. This sounds like on-page SEO and it does help a lot in your quality score. Sprinkle the keywords naturally instead of stuffing them all over.

I use WordPress for my landing pages because it is easy to add keywords into my title tags, meta tags, meta description, H1 tags and headline. It is also very easy to add additional pages.

Admin Links

To make your site more credible, you should have a few administrative links such as privacy policy and contact page. This is part of the requirement of Google and since it only takes very little time to add them, why not.

Images

If you have images which are NOT totally relevant to your page, such as guarantee seal, order button and such stuff, you need to rename them with numbers. Most people will name their order button as order-button.jpg, you should name it as a123.jpg or 123.jpg or something like that.

For relevant images, name them with your keywords. Maybe your offer is an accounting software, you can name your image as accounting-software.jpg or name-of-accounting-software.jpg or your-keyword.jpg. You get the idea.

You can also put your keywords in the alt text of your images. Once again, do this naturally, instead of keyword spamming.

Incoming Links

Some people say that having some incoming links to your landing pages would also help, however, I do have some landing pages without a single incoming link yet my quality score is still very good.

Content Network

Announcement: Content network is now Google Display Network.
It is just a change in name, everything else remains the same.

Use AdWords Content Network. Why not? There is so much more traffic at a much lower cost. When you get used to it, you can easily move on to media buying where you can get even more traffic.

Yahoo And Bing

Use Yahoo and Bing pay-per-click! I used to think that there are a lot less traffic with Yahoo and Bing, however, if you add more keywords, you end up getting more traffic. Also, there is less competition compared to Google therefore the clicks cost lesser.

Best of all, they are so much more forgiving than Google AdWords and you can get away with some mistakes like adding many keywords in a single campaign! You can even get away with direct linking most of the time! No kidding!

At least for now, we can still get away with all these stuff, just remember that things will change in future, it is just a matter of time before Yahoo and Bing become as strict as Google. Therefore, take advantage while you still can.

Do not just take my word for it. Try it for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Conclusion

Now that you understand how Google works, how you can follow their best practices and end up being totally unaffected by any slap. As simple as it seems, all you need is just a few small changes and you will be alright.

Enjoy…..

“PPC Review:
How To Succeed With PPC…..”

I do get a lot questions about how I got started with ppc. Here is an honest truth….. I did NOT figure everything out by myself, I was blessed to learn from some industry experts who are honest and proficient.

After learning from them, I knew exactly what to test. If I do not know what to test, I would not have succeeded with ppc marketing.

Among so many ppc courses that I read and tested, these are the very best, (at least in my humble opinion). Not only do they work really well, they are easy to understand and implement, I believe these ideas will continue to work for the long run.

AdWords Pioneer: Perry Marshall

Almost everybody who has been online for awhile would have heard of Perry Marshall. From what I can remember, the first course which I bought was his Definitive Guide To Google AdWords. Without it, I would not have been able to put together my very first AdWords campaign.

I have always been on his email list and I read his blog on a regular basis. He is not just about AdWords, he also talks about market research, improving conversions, testing and tracking, business strategies, developing USP and more.

FREE Content

Get on Perry Marshall’s email list, even his free information is useful and can help you in your business, just like it has helped me over the years.

Definitive Guide To Google AdWords

If you wish to purchase this course, you can get a better deal by joining his Renaissance Club Membership (Monthly Printed Newsletters With Audio CDs). All these items will be shipped right to your door step.

If you do not wish to continue with his monthly membership, just email him to cancel, no hassle at all. Chances are, after reading a few pages of the newsletter, you would be hooked! The content is pure gold, read it and you will know what I mean.

Super Affiliates: Commission Blueprint

Commission Blueprint was created by Tim Godfrey and Steve Clayton. It comes with some reports and some videos, which I still have not watched! I read the reports a few times because they were that good!

These guys showed us proof that they did over $100,000 in commissions, (within a month), for a single affiliate program ClickBank! Before you get too excited, I guess half of it was their nett profits. $50,000 in commissions, within a month, for a single affiliate program is still a very good income!

What amazed me was the fact that ClickBank even interviewed Steve and made him some sort of case study for others to learn. How few super affiliates can get such attention, especially from ClickBank.

I could go on and on about these guys and the course, however it is best that you check out Commission Blueprint for yourself. When you purchase through my link, you will get the following bonus.

Advanced Affiliate Strategies (Value: $39.95)

Steal Your Competitors Blind

Smart Bonus Strategy

Launch Annihilation

Trend Domination

List Building Mastery (Value: $49.95)

The REAL Reasons For Building Your List

What To Do And What Not To Do

List Building Basics

Money-Making Autoresponder Emails

How To Make Money With Your List

Relationship Building Secrets

Advanced Copywriting Techniques

Squeeze Page Basics

Promoting Your List

Offline Promotions

Increasing Conversions

Overcome List Building Problems

Taking Your List Building To A Higher Level

Presell Expert: Mark Acutt

Chances are, you may not have heard of Mark Acutt because he is not yet as well-known as the above people whom I just mentioned. I discovered him, read his material and found him to be a great source of common sense!

His course, Cash Boot Strap Method lays out a complete method from start to finish about his ppc strategy. This course might not cost much, however, there is a lot really good content inside.

He has another course, Cash Presell Method, which is actually an upsell. This course is shorter though it really includes the very fine details of writing a presell that converts.

There are small little nuggets of gold all over this course! I like the part about framing your affiliate offer based on your audience, showing the product and benefits in a way that makes people really want to buy.

Flow charts are also included so that you can understand the whole flow of marketing at a glance.

Conclusion…..

It is no secret that there are many really good ppc marketers out there. These people whom I just mentioned, they are not just good marketers, they are great at teaching people as well.

Enjoy…..

Original Source: Insider PPC

“Google Analytics Tutorial…..”

By now, you probably realized that Google Analytics is one of the best analytics tools ever and it has an unbeatable price which is $0. To get an account, all you need to do is to open a Google account or you can sign up with your existing Gmail account.

Once you login, you want to add a website profile.

Google Analytics: Tracking Code

Grab the new tracking code so that you can put it in the footer of all your pages which you want to track.

Google Analytics: Profile

When editing your profile, you want to check on apply cost data.

Google Analytics: Goals

You can set up multiple goals per website.

Turn on your goal and select head match.

Google Analytics: Goal Funnel

A typical goal funnel would look like this…..

Squeeze Page:
Get people to give you their email.

Confirmation Page:
Remind people to confirm they want to receive your emails.

Sales Page:
Make a good offer in a persuasive manner to get people to buy.

Order Link:
Always track how many people actually click on your order link.

Thank You Page:
Your buyers land here after successfully making a purchase.

If you are an affiliate, you can set your affiliate link as the final goal of your funnel, then you track your sales separately.

Here is an advanced way to segment Google Analytics goal funnel. This is slightly more complex so just skip it if you are unsure.

The reason why you want to track your goal funnel is because you want to know exactly which stage of your funnel is slowly your sales down. Then you will know exactly where to fix when problems occur.

Simply by improving part by part, before you know it, your conversion rates will start to go up and you will start making more money even if you have the same amount of traffic.

Google Analytics: Link Tagging

You can tag all your links to track your traffic source so that you know which are your best and worse traffic sources.

Source:
google, yahoo, msn, print publication

Medium:
ppc-search, ppc-content, banners, ezines

Campaign:
trial-offer, limited-offer, special-offer

Term:
keywords, search terms

Content:
ad copy, ad creatives

Example:

http://www.url.com/page?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc-search&utm_campaign=test&utm_term=keyword&utm_content=ad001

That is what a link would look like when you tag it, do not have to use all the fields, just use whichever is relevant to your business.

Adding this tags to all your links manually may take you some time, fortunately, you can do auto tagging when you use AdWords.

Personally, I prefer manually tagging over auto tagging and I like using this Google Analytics Destination URL Builder to create links with tags.

Enjoy…..
