WordPress Download
In order to save your time, I complied some WordPress files for you to download:
Login
Login to WordPress. (http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin)
WordPress Posts

Posts have time stamp and can be categorized. |

You can organize the order of your categories. |
WordPress Pages
 |
Posts have no time stamp and no categories. |
 |
You can organize the order of your pages. |
Visual And HTML
 |
You can edit your pages with WYSIWYG mode. |

You can also edit your pages with HTML mode. |
Upgrading WordPress
WordPress is ever-improving and they keep coming up with newer, better and more secure versions.
When there is a new version, you would see an indicator on the top of the page and you would know that it is time to upgrade.

You can upgrade it easily and conveniently without any downtime. You do not even have to upload any files using your FTP software.
Select Tools and click on Upgrade. Then click on the button that says Upgrade Automatically.

Updating Plugins

WordPress plugins (modules) are also ever-improving and the developers keep coming up with newer and better versions. Whenever you see an indicator on your sidebar, you know there are new versions available. |
You can even upgrade many plugins all at once. Just check the Select All box and click on Upgrade Plugins.
Automatic Backups
 |
Select Database and click on DB Options. Set how often you want to back up and save it. |
WordPress Security
 |
The main admin user is admin, you just have to create another administrator with a new ID and password, then you logout.
Now you login with your new ID and password. Next, delete admin and append all posts to your new administrator. In this way, it is harder for people to hack into your account. |
Comment Spam Protection
This is easy….. when you just installed WordPress, you would see this.
You would be asked to enter an API key.
Click on the link, get your WordPress API key, enter it and you are done. Each key can be used for unlimited number of blogs as you want.
